I know that it won't be possible to balance all of them perfectly, but I am sure most of you agree that it is just simply insufficient for such a big game to just balance the legends with minor updates every couple month.
And since I am in quarantine and bored af, I though out I could as well do what the devs can't do for over a year now.
Come up with good buffs and nerves for each legend.
Even though I tried to focus on buffs, I think sometimes you have to nerve legends since otherwise it would spin out of control over time.
Wraith
Even though she is one of the most used and strongest legends I still think she is fairly balanced since she had a couple of nerves during the last patches. Maybe increase her Q cooldown even further.
Wattson
Even though she definitely is one of the strongest characters, she is not as popular as other A tier legends, probably because she is has no mobility and is not as "fun" to play. I get why they introduced her to the game, to slow down third parties, but her Ult is simply too strong and rewards camping too much which is not healthy for any game. I would just simply remove the shield generation from her Ult.
Gibraltar
Two things. Allow surplus damage which goes into his shield to hurt his health and remove the fast revive or the fast heal under his dome since it makes Lifeline irrelevant.
Pathfinder
This one hurts since it is my main, but I think that his grappling cooldown could be slightly increased.
Caustic
I actually think he is fairly balanced, of course Worlds Edge does not benefit his playstyle, but this will eventually change when we get a new map in a couple of weeks. Just please, for gods sake, make friendly gas visible and either remove the slow or the blur effect for teammates.
Lifeline
Once one of the most popular legends she became obsolete since they decided to buff Gibby for the 20th time. Two things. Storm damage should not destroy the drone, that make zero sense and her Ult needs to be reworked, since there are so many purple shields in the game her Ult is basically useless. I would suggest a mobile respawn beacon which you can call in or the heal Ult which we saw in the dummy event.
Bangalore
Just simply buff her Ult slightly. It takes too long for it to go off and it should be displayed in which way the Ult goes. (I know Bangalore mains won't need this, but for people which don't play her regular that would be helpful)
Crypto
I think he is better than his reputation, he is just simply one of the legends with the highest skill ceilings and therefore often misused. Maybe he should also be able to use survey beacons (but not with his drone, that would be overpowered), since his current passive is trash (it also would be overpowered if his drone would detect enemies behind him while the drone is on him)
Bloodhound
I really like the buffs they gave him. But ffs. his abilities are still way too loud and maybe his tactical should reset as soon as he Ults. That would be nice in my opinion.
Octane
I think Monkey has some great suggestions. Even though I think some buffs would make him too good. For example, that he can't be slowed down by Caustic traps or the nade boosts.
Mirage
Even though he is one of the most fun and most beloved legends, he is just simply trash. He should definitely have two decoys and his Ult needs to be reworked. But I think that the decoy Ult which we saw during the dummy event would would not be a great improvement, since it would be useless in building fights, since you just have to shoot the Mirage which runs towards the door. I'd rather see his current Ult just deploying one decoy, so it won't be as obvious when he uses his Ult. Also his Ult should last slightly longer. (maybe 7 instead of 5 seconds) and he should not trigger caustic traps while in his Ult. Also his Passive is soooo useless. One idea I have is that he becomes invisible when he revives someone or that he becomes slightly transparent when he loots deathboxes. But hopefully some of you have better suggestions.
Revenant
Most overhyped and most useless legend. His tactical should have a bigger radius, do slightly more damage, (15 or 20 instead of 10) and maybe even stun the enemies. (not as long as the arc star [5 seconds], maybe just 2 or 3). Also his Ult needs a massive rework. The health from the totem should be increased to 150 HP (like Wattsons Ult), the radius should be increased, but not infinitely since that could lead to abuse and break the game, but to at least 100 meters (currently just 60m), the movement speed should be increased while in the death forme and people should respawn with 5 or 10 HP instead of just 1. Also remove Low profile (at least while he is not in his death form)
I hope you like some my suggestions and I really hope we will see some of them in the near future. I know, they are not perfect, but I think they would definitely encourage people to regularly use more legends once again.
