I’m fine with pathfinders nerf, he definitely needed one. But couldn’t they have changed it so that the nerf was only implemented during combat?

I’m fine with pathfinders nerf during combat. He was able to reposition himself easily and escape in 15 seconds. Even his time now I’m sort of fine with. I just miss being able to use his grapple to travel freely such as traversing across the map or climbing up buildings. The grapple was such a unique mechanic and what I feel like many people don’t realise is that whilst his tactical is the same time as others, his tactical was much more unique than any other tactical which is why the nerf felt like a much bigger hit.

What I would rather have is that pathfinder would have the same grapple time when not in combat, but as soon as he comes across an enemy and interacts I.e gets shot at, shoots at them, or gets his by smoke/gas/fences, then his grapple time is brought back up. This means that he isn’t able to aggressively push, as his timer is still going to be long, but still allows pathfinder to travel across the map and still have access to a fun mechanic regularly.
