This is something I haven't seen talked about and it's something I've been wondering about for a while since I play on PC.
Matchmaking is incredibly slow almost at all points of the day. I can't think of a time that I queued up and got a game in less than a minute, and I'm at a low rank which is where a large portion of the community should be at, because that's how ranks work.
If I'm not getting games because I'm too low rank and everyone in the community is sitting at gold or higher, then the ranks system needs to be redone because as it stands, I can't climb because I don't want to sit in queue for 2-3 minutes, only to be killed within a minute because the jumpmaster took us to a shitty spot or there's no comms or any other random reason you can think of.
Sure you can make the argument "Get better at the game then, find out the best spots to jump, get better at aiming so you win early gunfights and stay in the games for longer." but then I say to you, how do I do that when it takes 2-3 minutes at minimum to find a game?
Anyways, TLDR; is matchmaking just bad or is the PC community dead? (Same as title.)
Edit: I have been playing on the Oregon server since I get 30 ping on that one, Idk, maybe the game's just not popular on the west coast?
