I play Apex because it's the most user friendly battle royale on the market (IMO). You take no damage in case of jumping from a high mountain, you have the best pinging system, comfortable weapon customization and so on. But there is still one thing that annoys me – enemies start looting your box as soon as you die. And a lot of times we all die really stupidly and then regret our in game decisions but there is nothing you can do but wait for your squad to revive you with 0 loot.

So here is my gadget idea:

Possible name: Quantum lock.

What it does? – Here I have 3 separate options:

1. It locks your lootbox from enemies for a certain ammount of time. Basically if you die enemies won't be able to open your lootbox so you will have a chance to get back to it and collect your belongings if teammates revive you. I'd say a 1-3 minute lock would be fine

2. It allows you to permanently lock 2-3 items of your choice. For example, you have purple armor and if you have quantum lock in your inventory enemies won't have acces to it but they will be able to loot amo, shield cells and other thing.

3) It allows you to keep certain items in case you get revived. So when you drop from the ship will have at least some gun and armor.
