Revenant: Deep Dive on Buffing his Kit.

Alright so I've already made quite a few Buff threads for him and I will go way deeper on why he needs a buff, what the buff should be and why what he has doesn't work. Remember all these are suggestions not everything has to be implemented. It's ok to disagree but please be civil.

WHY HIS PASSIVE IS LACKING:

So Revenant's passive is pretty good but like a lot of newly added characters there something much to be desired about it, something lacking. His fast couch walking is good, very good. But his climbing ability is not as good as it should be. Revenant can climb twice as much as other characters and slightly faster. But, it's not as great as you'd think it would be.

Where it could be great you simply just can't climb high enough, and when you can usually there's something about the buildings design that stops you. And that's a real problem, Revenant can't vault over things when climbing so there's some buildings you just can't clutch a sneaky or clever approach. Even on Kings Canyon buildings often have what I'm going to refer to as "Bumpers" that keep you from advancing forward as you want. So this already limits the usefulness of this ability quite significantly.

BUFFING HIS PASSIVE:

Revenant should have the ability to climb infinitely. And be able to cling to surfaces indefinitely and able to look 360 degrees when stationary on the surface too. Pressing Crouch or Jump to uncling.

OVERPOWERED?:

I think with all the limitations already, Revenant's climbing being infinite would not be a problem. There's already limitations on the types of buildings and structures you can climb on, and in-game barriers set on the geometry of the map that either push you off or give to a timer to return. Also let Revenant cling to walls immediately without sliding down if he has high downward momentum.

Being able to cling to walls would add more to his Stealth Meta and the fact that he is supposed to be a stealthy Legend. This would not be overpow because if spotted you're a very exposed Target with basically nowhere to go. So it would be a risk/reward thing. It would also sorta act as a disengage too.

BUFFING HIS TACTICAL:

There are a few suggestions for this one.

A. Revenant's Silence should do 30 Damage in addition to stopping characters from using their abilities. Also a bigger blast radius so it's easier to hit your target and multiple too. Also adjust the arc so it can be thrown more accurately and with way less vertical arc.

B. Silence still does 10 damage with a bigger blast radius, but also keeps enemies from healing too for 7 seconds in addition to disabling abilities.

C. Silence does 20 damage, and keeps enemies highlighted for the first 5 seconds they are effected in addition to disabling abilities. Bigger blast radius.

This would be kinda like how his original tactical concept was with "Marked for Death". But way more balanced instead of highlighting them infinitely.

OVERPOWERED?:

Personality I would go with "A" I believe that would make it much more viable than it is now. The other suggestions are what others have said too. I'd like "C" I don't think that would be OVERPOWERED. But extremely good.

BUFFING HIS ULTIMATE:

Death Totem should have double the range. While in Shadow Form Revenant moves 20% faster. However his crouch walk and climbing speed remains unchanged. Since your shields are disabled, Revenant takes 15% less damage in this form. Downing enemies in this form allows you to regain 25 health lost. These 3 buffs only apply to Revenant. Revenant only, not teammates.

When killed Revenant respawns back with 25 Health. Teammates respawn with 35 Health. Ultimate lasts longer and so does the Shadow Form Timer.

OVERPOWERED?:

I don't think so. As I said these buffs only apply to Revenant and not other teammates. So 15% less damage on Revenant only, again you have no shields only health. So it won't keep you from getting melted, but it'll definitely make you more resilient. 20% Movement increase only applies to Revenant. Shodiwn Farm is supposed to be his powered up form, so allowing him faster movement seems as it should. Again, he doesn't get a movement boost crouching or climbing, those stay the same. It only effects his running and walking speed.

Open to Suggestions.
