Skill Based Match Making

Doesn’t SBMM defeat the purpose of becoming better at a game. Because isn’t the point of getting better at a game is so that you can win more often and are better than everyone else in your lobby but when your placed with people who are the same skill level as you, it defeats the purpose.

because it starts out really fun, now your playing against better people until now started to get the 14k wraith mains will more kills then i have games and so now i am flung into a void of constantly getting smacked because at that skill level you need a pre-made squad with full coms or a team that doesn’t leave the second they are regardless of how far they are from you.

I think the balance between SBMM and none is having the players have to reach a certain amount of kills, number of games played, or wins until they are grouped up with the rest of the player base. I have seen other games do this and it works out perfectly because by then the players are pretty good at the and capable of understanding the basics and the meta.
