4Game

I was playing ranked yesterday(currently gold 1 making my way up), and the final game I played before I decided it was time to stop for the day went like this:

We land at overlook with no enemies around, we got decent guns but white shield, we make our way down near the unnamed little area near the vault, no enemies again.

I hear shots at the epicenter and ping my intentions to engage. Both teammates say no, we make our way up the hill towards geyser, we hear shots at the city, I ping, they say no! We make our way through geyser towards harvester, again we hear shots at sorting factory and… they say no!

At this point we still all have white shields. Because everything in our path was looted. I decide to make my way near geyser again to get a care package in hopes of armour, teammates ignored my pings so I went alone, sadly it was a backpack.

They where all the way at harvester, while I was making my way back I got spotted and had people chasing me, zone was pushing everyone towards sorting factory. I finally meet up with my team over at the choke point right before harvester.

I furiously ping them to move back because as zone was pushing we would get pinched if we tried to fight there. Once again they ignore me! Still with level one shields, after avoiding every possible fight in the game we could have third partied. They decide that now, in the zome, in a choke point that people coming from capitol would be behind us, was the time to fight!

I stuck with the team and commited with them. We got two of the people that were following me, and then got obliterated by people pushing from Capitol.

As a solo player I try my best to play around my team, but god darn is it hard sometimes. What should I do in these situations? Should I just leave them and save myself some RP? I really don't want to be THAT GUY that plays selfishly and goes around the map alone.

Teammates were not new to the game either, they had respectable stats. I know it is gold, but still… Anyway!
