First of all I will say that I have loved Apex since its release. I recently moved to PS4 as my xbox died and have therefore had a new account meaning that I was getting high kill games (10+) while working through the low level and I am starting to level out KD wise. I'm currently sitting at a 1.5 KD and my friends who I play with vary from 0.3 to 1.2.
In the last few weeks, we seem to be constantly in lobbies with predators and people with thousands of kills. I am level 50 something and my team mates below level 30.
Whether we play ranked (Silver II) or standard games, we will easily play 5-15 games where we get 0 kills and never does the SBMM put us against players that seem our level. Its really starting to put us all off the game which is a real shame.
It seemed that a month ago the SBMM would seem quite fair and we would face the odd predator and then get a few kill games.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Or am I just having a few terrible weeks?
