I got this idea from GTA5 online, Rockstar drops special missions at random times, if you complete said special tasks then you can earn X amount of exp or cash, some servers have random boosts like 2x vehicle speed or 1/2 gravity for the next 30 minutes. Basically special missions that you'll only know if you just so happens to be playing the game at the time. I think similar ideas could add some fun to WoT.
WG could do something like 5x exp and credits on all games from 7pm to 9pm, or zero RNG for the next hour, or 50% off on consumables for 1 hour IF you earn high caliber or top gun in the next 3 hours. Hell WG could incorporate all the fun characteristics of all the past special game modes into randoms so it's not just shelved in a datacenter somewhere collecting dust.
