tldr: Aimbots have been a thing and most likely are to this day. Little punishment and actual advantages encourage people to use them. (yes the team and the player in the video get shit on/ cheats do not compensate for game sense)
The player in the video is clearly using an aimbot and he most likely is to this day. The video was captured in 2018 from a clan war replay. As you can see, the program is actively searching for weakspots with high chance of penetration. How do we know its an aimbot? The aiming itself is pretty eratic and its not autoaim, since you would hear the typical sound queues for it. The player back then admitted to using some mods, but as he said, he wasnt aware of an aimbot being installed. So he basically said he didnt know about the aimbot. But he was aware that the aim in the replay was not his.
Mods like that are still an issue to this day. Just think about when you play your Obj. 277 and the enemy Kranvagn just hits your tiny cupola 3 times in a row despite you moving. Or you are playing your Super Conquerer and the enemy somehow manages to pen through weird spots a few times in a row, or damaging the same module over and over. Some players are capable of doing that, but propably not 46% wr gamers.
Maybe the awareness for that issue can be revived by some of the CCs like u/RagingRaptor177, u/QuickyBaby or any others.
It makes me very angry to see people like that are still playing without punishment and are most likely due to lack of punishment still cheating.
