If you want to verify this information feel free to google "belife filter" and read up on it as it's really interesting how our mind can make our break our gaming experience and yes, some days are just bad days 😊
Each second you game, your brain is bombarded with massive amounts of information.
Sights.
Sounds.
Words.
Sensations,
And your conscious mind simply does not have the capacity to process all this information.
So the information passes through your subconscious “filter”
And that filter is your beliefs.
And as then information passes through the filter, the filter…
…deletes,
…distorts,
…and deciphers,
…the information.
So if you believe that the game is a bad game then your belief filter will make sure you notice bad things happening in the game and miss the good things happening around you.
And guess what…
When you start noticing all the bad things, your belief that the game is a bad game is confirmed
If you work on focusing on the good in a game then your belief will change little by litte and your belief filter will filter out the bad in the game instead of the good and you will find you will do better as you aren't constantly frustrated with just happened and instead you will always be looking ahead to the next good play.
Now how mush you filter depends on the level of belief and this determines the amount of contradictory information to your belief gets through.
An easy way to tell if you have an overpowerd belief is if you have an "absolute" opinion that "NOTHING" good comes from something.
I hope someone finds this useful and what are your thoughts?
