Today marks 1 year since I started playing WoT. It took me almost 4k battles to become a decent player, from scratch. Half of year ago I could never even dream of constantly playing the way I do now.
I used to be a 300-400 wn8 player ( now I'm at over 900 at 5.5k battles, so the healing of WN8 is already underway – I know it's not something to brag about, but it is constantly getting better).
Reaching my first tier 8 tanks just when the 1st stage of Frontline started this year and not knowing what the hell "hulldown" means .
I used to be the first to die in a battle with 0 0 0, 10-20 battles in a row. Not knowing the mechanics, the maps or what tanks to be aware of had big contribution to these scores. ( I still die fast in some battles, but now I learn something new from each time I make a mistake).
6 months ago I used to 1-mark tanks in 200-300 battles. Last moth I did it in 80, down to 59 today ^_^
My next "goal" is to be consistent enough to start going for the 2-marks, but that may take a while (I recently got the KV-2 and I love it, I've played well in it and it could be the first one to get 2-marked).
I'm not rushing tho, because I know you can't get the marks if you don't perform at a certain level. That comes with time and experience, pushing towards it only makes the game stressful rather than fun.
I hope to post again in 1 year time, just as happy as I am now that I can consider myself not being a part of the problem anymore.
