Essentially, this is the epitome of the rampant camping meta and you can see why.
I see people on this sub-reddit trying to defend artillery and stuff like that and saying stupid sh*t like "well, you got spotted, so what do you expect, of course artillery is going to punish you for that!".
This game shows why artillery and MM is such a huge issue.
No one wants to move, or they get spotted and get one-shot by arty. This leads to everyone trying to save their skin by camping in bushes and hoping to god that they don't get spotted.
The only ones who dare move are light-tanks because their innate mobility gives them a better chance to survive being one-shot by arty or enemy TDs in the back-line.
With games like this, essentially all people are doing is camping in the hopes of spotting for arty, everyone is playing passive scout, whether it be heavies, lights, meds or TDs.
WG seriously need to limit arty to one per game. I have no innate issue with artillery (I know right), but three of them causes this game to stagnate into something where you park up at the beginning of the game, go and make coffee and see how much assistance damage you end up with at the end, without even needing to bother to play at all.
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
