After opening a 100 boxes today I only recieved 2 tanks (both guaranteed tanks at box 50 and 100). I noticed similar results from other people as well. This got me thinking, what if WG interprets the 2,4% chance of getting a tank such as it includes the guaranteed mechanic.
You will always have 100% chance to get a tank in 50 boxes due to guarantee mechanic so technicaly it's equivalent to 2% per box. (in an infinite sample size)
If the chance to get a tank randomly (not thanks to the guarantee mechanic) was a bit over 0,4% that would add up to a 2,4% chance. Ofcourse it would have to be higher than 0,4% because getting a random tank resets the guaranteed tank. But the actual chance in that case would be still lower than 2,4% though right?
Do you think WG is playing with the numbers or am I just salty about getting super unlucky?
Also, how many non-guaranteed tanks did you get per 100 boxes?
( 100 / number of opened boxes ) * number of non-guaranteed tanks recieved
