first id like to say i dont know jack about programming so this is probably all bullshit. but lets say in the data the current gold rounds are called "Goldround1.0" and they stop the sale of those rounds and introduce the sale of "Goldround2.0" with lower damage but otherwise same performance. people could choose to use their "GoldRound1.0" from the garage until they run out of their stash and then would have to switch to "GoldRound2.0" thus getting rid of the old rounds over time. that way people that bought "GoldRound1.0" with gold still get the product they paid for but with a limited supply.

this way instead of working on 5 things at the same time and having to backtrack everything because the community doesnt like something about it they can focus on one thing and maybe work on it quicker. once the gold rounds are "balanced" they can focus on something else like low tier HP & dpm relalance or HE reworks.
