If you see someone do decently, check if they're new-ish or noob-ish. Give some encouragement every now and then!
These 15-0 or 15-5 games are really frustrating as an experienced player, but my god as a new player??? This game is already incredibly difficult to learn from a new player perspective but throw in the extra general toxicity because of how much winning impacts experienced earned and it's a legit problem sometimes.
Many of us remember getting messages of encouragement or congrats on good performances once or twice. Sure it doesn't happen often, but you ride the high and strive for better.
I saw this new-ish player (~1500 games) take a great position and held it very well against the stomp in a t8 game. It inspired me to message them and give them a props because they did a great job all things considered. They had a ~42% W/R so I figured they were not a seal-clubber.
A compliment to an inexperienced player means a lot, but a compliment to a new player means A LOT. Bring positivity back to chat messages by recognizing eachother for what we do well.
