Currently the plan is to increase the damage of all AP shells and all tanks, while keeping the damage of gold shells as is, in order to “balance” the gold shells. Yes it makes them worse, but the biggest issue with this is that makes firing gold rounds even less profitable because it will require more shells to deal same amount of damage as before, and because the damage to credits ratio is going to also be tweaked for higher AP damage, it will be a double whammy.
I was thinking, and I think the best solution is just to eliminate the idea of “gold rounds” entirely. What I mean by this is just reduce the price of premium ammo, so that instead of choosing between cheap vs. expensive ammo, as is currently on the live server, we would have two shells balanced not by price but by damage output vs. consistency.

The issue: none from a player’s perspective, now we have two viable options to choose from that have pros and cons. However, wargaming probably won’t like this idea cause it means less profit for them, but i think it would help ammo gameplay significantly.
Also HE changes are not needed in my opinion, I like HE as is.
The new Arty I don’t mind but would like to see the stun rounds do a little less damage.
