I've always found EBRs to be intensely annoying, but I just had the dumbest game due to one. I was in my Leo 1 on Cliff, and it was a fairly uneventful battle until we got down to 4v3. They had a Manticore, an EBR 105, and a ConqGC left. I and a 268 are near the enemy base. The 268 has about 50 health, and dies to splash when the GC shotguns him.
I finish off the Manticore, who had started to cap, while our own ConqGC and an E3 also start to cap. The E3 is on low enough health, and the GC is helpless enough, that the EBR manages to assassinate both of them without getting spotted at all. So now it's Leo 1 vs EBR… which ended up completely unwinnable despite me being full health.
Obviously nothing in the game can catch an EBR, but what was even worse was that I could not even spot him unless he fired. That's… fine… if I'm chasing, but I couldn't see him at all when he shot at me while I was in the cap circle. So he was able to just laugh in my face and reset cap without me being able to do anything about it. I thought they were given short view ranges to compensate for their ludicrous speed, but even a 520m view range (improved optics!) on a 27 camo tank can't even see it after it goddamn fires (granted, he was probably in a bush).
That meant that the game ended as a draw, because there was nothing I could do as a medium with improved optics about an invisible tank going 90 kph and shooting at me. If the E3 and GC happened to die in more convenient positions to act as a wall I may have stood a chance, but it was not so. It wouldn't even have mattered if I had decided to cap instead of go for the LTs, because then the capping Manticore could just sit tight while the EBR and its cloaking device reset. With the three (two and a half?) ways of looking into the north base on Cliff, even lying in wait outside of cap was at best a 50-50 chance of even seeing him at all.
Not sure how I'd fix this other than making the firing camo on the EBRs absolutely horrendous, to the point where they're pretty much guaranteed to be outspotted if they're firing. But the fact that the enemy simply having an EBR can mean that you can't win unless you have enough tanks left for a full scale manhunt is just incredibly frustrating.

Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
