I wonder why WG doesnt use the Gaussian distribution on these two parameters.
According to wot wiki, it is only used for shot distribution in aim circle.
I think using it maybe like:
20% of all shots have a rng range of 0% to +5%
20% of all shots have a rng range of 0% to -5%
15% from +6% to +15%
15% from -6% to -15%
10% from +16% to +20%
10% from -16% to -20%
5% from +21% to +25%
5% from -21% to -25%
As an example 400 average damage gun would roll for:
380-420 in 40% of all shots.
The low rolls would only occur 5% of all shots doing 300-316 dmg.
This is just an example, but it would make those miracle pens and high rolls still possible for all shots, but the game would be a bit less lottery and more reliable. WoT could not maintain esports role as there is too much rng.
It would reduce frustrating low roll games in General.
What do you think about this honestly? Thanks.
Posting mobile, therefore no gauss graphic included, sorry for that.
