Ever since gold-ammo was made available for credits using heavy armoured tanks like T95, T110e3, Tortoise, Badger etc. has lots it's meaning.
Why bother spending a lot of time trying to get these tanks when you're going to get penned by almost anyone anywhere with gold spam? It's also a big issue on lower tiers because gold spam scares away new players when they get thrown out into a battle trying to learn about how the game works and they die almost immidietly to a player with over 15k battles behind his belt spamming gold and not even bothering to aim at the weak spots.
On the other hand nerfing gold-ammo wouldn't be a good approach too. Many players use it and there would be a huge backlash about it because it's sometimes necessary to have a fighting chance against +2 tier opponents that the matchmaking throws us at.
Solution would be quite simple (I hope). Instead if nerfing it there should be a limit towards how much of this gold-ammo you could have on a tank at a time. Let's say 10% of the max amount of ammo would be the max for gold-ammo (so if a tank has max ammo capacity at 50, 5 of those rounds could be the gold-ammo etc.). This is a special type of ammunition that was made to use on special occasions. Being able to spam it is irrational.

Give me your thoughts.
