Before I explain my ideas, i have to address that I am not against the idea of conventional passive scout light tanks, in fact I welcome them more, well at least more compare to armoured cars.

So, back to the topic. I always think that UK LT could have been slightly more interesting , overall the idea of a passive scout with good camo is nice , but in terms of “gun”, it’s slightly boring in two ways:

1. I understand it is to balance the higher alpha and camo with crap DPM, i understand. But it does make them in nowadays meta seem very underwhelming and boring.

2. The same 390 alpha with other LT(US/CN/FRx2), while being limited by both DPM and ammo number

My opinion is that it could have been different , using the IRL Scorpion recon LT, perhaps with 76/90mm, and create a line of lower alpha but ultra high DPM pew pew (while also maintaining the same aesthetic the line has), these sort of play style exists in terms of mid tier 57mms , and u can say STB/140 imitates it up to a point.

I believe that the fear of “high camo tank with big gun balance issue” could be resolved by a lower alpha as well,but not just the same DPM limiting factor of the current manticore that makes it boring in a certain way.

(Or perhaps this is what WeeGeee might do in the future when they introduce a second Uk LT line? Ha)

Of course this is only my opinion , not saying that “Im right! Wg change this now!”, and I am aware that some might argue higher alpha at tier 10 matters more compare to DPM on a mobile platform , and I do agree with that up to a point!
