Okay so we all know that the radio is pretty useless. I have an idea on how to make it interesting.
What if there would be a new stat to a radio module. Transmission speed.
For example: A friendly scout spots an enemy but it has a bad radio. The friendly arty is waaaaay back at spawn (as usual). Lets say that the transmission speed is 1.05 sec. If the arty is in the signal range of the scout it takes 1.05 seconds for the arty to see the spotted enemy. Signal travels to all friendly tanks that it can reach trough the fastest route. If the original signal cannot reach someone and has to travel trough more tanks the time stacks up.
This would encourage arty players to move closer to the front lines, and would prevent lucky suicide spotters from wrecking your game.
Also the revenge skill will be more usefull.
The skill of the radio operator can also influence the transmission speed.
I would like to know your thoughts.
