Many years ago I quit the game out of frustration because Tier X battles devolved into gold spamm battles after the ammo could be bought with in game currency.
As a free to play heavy tank enjoyer it was downright impossible to not loose money. Even though I could hold a win rate just shy of 60% in t 8 and 9 it was impossible for me at tier 10
After seeing a few tank memes I had randomly redownloaded the game and started grinding new tank lines. Now, not only did the game not become less p2w, it became even worse.
Starting at tier 3 I've encountered more gold ammo than regular ones. So many cammos and equipment's on tanks even below tier 5. My tier X tanks are simply weaker again. Not *just* because of power creep which is to be expected in a multiplayer game like this but because new grindable stats got implemented.
So I would have to play many, many games on my t X tanks to even the playing field, but doing so looses me money regardless of how well I perform.
I just cant find enjoyment of playing a fresh t 5 tank, just to get 2 shot by a heat spamming t 3 while i have a 50 damage peashooter equipped…
It it just the game being beginner unfriendly and it gets better over time or does anyone else feel the same?
