The current meta is hull down tanks and lots of armour, ofc people are going to shoot gold. I don't understand how crying about it on reddit every other day is going to change anything. (here comes the downvotes) gold ammo is available for everyone and before you whine about it being expensive, sure it is but with WG throwing days of premium, free premium tanks, boosters, crew members and so on at you even f2p players can easily grind credits now compared to back in the day.
Lets take the Conqueror and BC AP for example; both have APCR as gold so fuck yeah im going to shoot full gold! Better pen and shell velocity! Why would i sit and snipe in the BC ap using bad ammo? Why would i play hull down in the Conq and get shit on by the enemy heavies shooting gold but shoot standard ammo back? Thats how you lose fights, ALOT of damage and lose the battles.
Ill happily keep spamming gold and perform better in randoms, ranked and CW and then play a few hours of Tier 8 prems to make the credits back.
Also when people say its unfair and broken and so on, how come i have almost 3500 DPG in the Conqueror in 115+ battles? Cause i spam full gold?cause i know how to use my tank to my advantage, positions, maps, reload times of tanks, armour values, penetrations, alpha damages, mechanics like walls vs HEAT, bush mechanics, top speeds of tanks and using my teammates and enemies as shields/help, prioritizing targets and not tunnel visioning?

It is not as simple as just removing/nerfing gold ammo, with that nerf we would have 100+ tanks getting nerfed too not just from not having the gold anymore but what i mean is having to start nerfing armour values and so on, it would be a completly different game.

I know this post is gonna get ALOT of shit, but im interested in what the few people with a few braincells left that can have a normal conversation has to say. Let the shitstorm begin. <3
