With all the talk going on about Crew 2.0 i find the following aspect to be totally overlooked: it will make the gameplay less transparent or you could say more confusing.
With all the rng in the game, it already feels like a tank-themed slot machine from time to time, because you have so few reliable visual data. If you know the tanks really well you can maybe spot which gun an opponent is using or if he uses a stock turret or sth.
Its already a problem that you have no way of knowing which equipment your opponent is using, but since crews will have so much more impact on the gameplay after 2.0 it will create some infuriating situations:
Imagine this scenario: You and your opponent are both two-shotable and you know that your tank has a faster reload, therefore you push and trade because you will dish out the killing shot faster. But behold, with some crazy crew 2.0 he now has less reload because he uses a Medkit or something.
You will have to factor in soo much new uncertainty in your decision making, it will be crazy. And i think that is bad for the game. Do you agree?
