Hello everyone! I’m not a big video gamer but I’ve played some games here and there over the years. I’ve played a couple times for War Thunder but never had my interest on the gameplay side. I played a match or two in world of tanks many years ago and didn’t think much of it. I tried it again and have recently started having so much fun! But I’ve found out after playing for the last week that the game has a lot of skill and thought behind it. More than what I thought before.
My username is Mai_Waffentrager. I have just under 200 matches currently. I know very little about the game besides the training missions. Someone told me I needed to buy a premium vehicle for the nation I am playing, but others told me I shouldn’t have done so. That warranted me coming to the community to find out what I need to exactly do to be good at this video game (lol).
I am playing the Rank 7 Swedish Leo tank and wanting to play the Udes 14-5 line. So I was told to buy a Lansen C tank. And I’ve enjoyed it but the tiers have experienced players and I don’t feel helpful as a new player. And would maybe need to focus on lower ranks first. So now I’m playing this T-34S.
I downloaded a mod people mentioned called XVM WN8. It’s been helpful at showing me how members in a match perform but I wanted to further my understanding of how to improve myself. Mainly because I find myself losing my matches often in a row.
Are there any tips and outlets to help me become a good player? Thank you!
