Now dont get me wrong, I dont "cry" when somebody just goldspams me, because its the game mechanic. I personally play with no "gold" whatsoever, been trying to play like this since I started watching Foch in like 2015/16, untill he quit WoT.

But despite that you can buy "gold" ammo for standart credits, its still pay2win mechanic. Why? Well, simply because its game mechanic, that has no disadvantages. Yes, there are some tanks that for example have lower shell velocity on their HEAT rounds, compared to their standart AP or APCR rounds, but also, there are many tanks that for some reason, have the same shell velocity on "gold" rounds", or even better. Take for example mid tiers like 5-8. Tanks have AP and APCR, and APCR is better in everything – better pene, faster shell velocity.

I dont say that simply loading full gold will make you superunicum, as this was even proven several times in history of WoT – you gotta know game mechanics, map positions, and have great strategic thinking, map reading, …

but still, in general, "gold" ammo is pay2win game mechanic, no matter how some people want to defent it, simply because is has no disadvantaged, and because you can pay for it with your credit card – buy Fort Knox, spam gold.
