I play in North America so all of my experience is based on game play on the NA/SA servers. If playing on other servers this may or may not apply to you. Just something to think about for new players or maybe a different approach for long time players. Pick what you want to accomplish during a gaming session and pick the appropriate tank for that when you play. Also pick the correct tier and server.
For example.. trying to complete battle pass? Pick a decent tier 5 tank and play against bots on the SA server. This is not seal clubbing for the sake of stat padding. It is using a option in the game to your advantage to complete a goal that will help you in other areas of the game. With a kv-1 on the SA server against mainly bots an average player should be able to do all daily missions in 2-4 battles.
Need credits.. pick a tank that is a known credit maker and use it for credit grinding. Do not jump around to other tanks for this but apply resources to build up that tank so it is the best tank.
Need a better crew? Buy a premium lower tier tank in the bond store to use as a crew grinding tank. For example: enjoy playing German heavy tanks? Grab the tiger 131 and use it at lower tiers for crew exp. Crews can be switched in and out of it with no penalty and are trained in it faster than a tech tree tank
Need bonds? Pick the best tier 10 tank you play that has the highest win rate for you and play it. Also finishing events like battle pass helps.
I just want to play a a video game for fun and shot tanks… pick a lower tier tank such as a tier 3-5 and play that. Don’t fall into the trap of playing tier 8 wallet warriors or tier 10 salty try hards if you only objective is to have fun. Lower tier tanks take very little resources and you still get to ride around shooting other tanks in a video game. Added bonus.. and yes I do this occasionally. Get burned out by the game? Jump in a few battles at lower tiers and just say fuck it. Riding around in a tier 3 tank with out playing ultra try hard will bring back a smile to your face.
The main point is a player should have a select tank in the garage that is maxed out to accomplish certain objectives in the game. Gaining resources in this game is one of the hardest parts of the game for most players. Especially f2p or almost f2p players. But it can be accomplished much easier and faster if using the correct tank for your objectives.
