Tank customization is a mess

It's not even bad, but could seriously use some QOL attention. Sorry if this is all points previously discussed ad nauseam but I just want to rant about an aspect of the game that isn't even a game balance issue, so I would assume it would be pretty easy to fix without drastic consequences and wouldn't require too many resources from the main gameplay development team.

For the most part, the whole skin and camo menu is great. But certain shit seems needlessly frustrating. Why can't we sell non-historical elements? I get that they don't want it being too many free credits, but it could be balanced by pricing them less, like the difference between selling a regular consumable and its premium counterpart.

Why can't we remove rental camos (or rental tanks for that matter) if we haven't used them up? I don't even care about credits, I just don't ant to look at it in the depot. Same for the progress emblems. We don't even get a full set (buy our shit if you want the full look!) and they are too easy to earn. "Play N battles" can be literally be botted. What's the point in showing that off? Lots of fights doesn't make you a threat. Honestly selling progress emblems from the depot for credits would be a fair bonus. Those that want to peacock can wear them, or we could earn some occasional credits for achievements. That doesn't seem too broken to me. And does an expired rental tank still lock the style it wore?

And has anyone noticed the applications can be buggy? Most of the time an paints or camo goes on on clicking anywhere on the desired part, but than it will stop responding with the next piece and you have to hit the orange diamond to get it to stick

And finally why do clan camos still come piecemeal and randomly nation locked (and tank locked once used)? I swear I'll have a full set for a single tank by 2030. Every other camo paint can be freely used but the ones earned for playing in a clan still have arbitrary restrictions.
