This game involves such a frustrating amount of luck to perform well that it sometimes feels like the only thing separating good players from bad players is just being luckier. Now this is obviously not the case, what really separates good players from bad players is mostly game knowledge/experience and macro play, not game mechanics.
The mechanics of the game are super simple, angle your tank, aim, shoot and hope for the best. There’s such a frustrating amount of luck involved that sometimes you just don’t feel in control of your vehicle. I recently bought the AE phase 1, 2 marked it in 103 games peaking at 89% MOE, with 61% WR and 2600 DPG, the next 80 odd games were pure misery, WR dropped to 56%, DPG dropped to 2300. Shells weren’t going where I was aiming, bad, unbalanced matchups were way more frequent. Didn’t play any differently but the outcome was drastically different. Honestly, I have never played a game where I felt less in control of what I was doing in game.
