I haven’t played this primitive demo for a few years now, and I decided to return once I saw it on steam. To my disappointment world of tanks refused to let you merge your wargaming account with your steam account without giving a reason why, I decided to start over and created a fresh account.
There is where I did the tutorial. The first 4 stages of the tutorial were easy, you could rush in and kill everyone with ease. However, the final stage was bullshit. The enemy ai are programmed to stay in their position, they won’t rush but simply defend. Killing them is impossible, once they see you they lock onto you and you and aimbot, having such a retarted range that they can hit you from across the map. Cover won’t work, whether or not you are seen they still lock onto you. The team ai however, is completely lost. They travel 2 meters and stand there, which is useless because the enemy team won’t push and you will just run out of time, go and try fight even a single tank and you will die. So you are left with another option; to run and capture the enemy base. However, this is also useless because there are 4-5 stationed tanks right at the base, so if you rush them you are guaranteed to die, if you don’t die in the combat (highly unlikely) and step on the base you are swarmed with the enemy ai and are killed instantly. The mission is impossible and you can’t access anything else because of it. I read a Reddit post here that also highlighted this problem, and let me make this clear I don’t need ‘pity tips’ on how to complete this tutorial. This is because this bug occurs so many times with so many people and requires you to completely uninstall the game. My point is there is no official patch after years from a multi billion company that have been sitting on their asses and releasing cosmetics every 2 months.
