Just started checking out World of Tanks (ps5) and gotta say I've been loving it! Great game. I'm still learning but here are I think some tips to help other beginners. And if the vets care to add some or can make corrections that'd be appreciated.
1- keep a tank going in each tech stream. I die quickly alot and rather than spectate I just switch to a different tank and keep grinding that XP.
2- stick with others. The map will help show you where everything is but numbers are everything.
3- don't waste dollars on cosmetics. You may never use that tank again so as cool as they look it's just a waste.
4- get commanders on each tank. They'll add passive skills and you can assign them to better tanks so worth developing.
5- be aware of who you're fighting. Partly to avoid going 1v1 vs tougher tanks, but more so you target weakened tanks. Sooner you reduce their numbers the better.
6- be choosy about what modules or equipment you buy. They cost a bit but really affect how your tank moves.
7- start a contract. I don't really know how they work but it seemed to be free and progresses just from playing the game.
Hope this helps!
