Just something that bothers me…I get the rotating mass & acceleration that screws tracks and makes wheels amazingly more useful on paved/semi graded roads, but the reason we have tracked vehicles, to begin with (other than protection from enemy fire, oh, the irony) is superior off-road performance.
When EBRs have as much or more weight than tracked LTs, while having ~10x less contact patch, i.e. 10x ground pressure, should we see them getting massively worse turning (and acceleration/top speed) than tracked vehicles on soft terrain? And shouldn't that penalty be hitting them twice as hard when the center wheels are retracted, i.e. not touching the ground, effectively halving the already tiny contact patch?
Ok, don't say make them turning 16x worse, but definitely not 0.22 worse.
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
