So like a lot of you, I bought loot boxes today, looking for one tank in particular; The Forest Spirit! I bought 50 (later moved up to 60) and was able to get two tanks: The Chieftain/T95 and the Ka-Ri. Well, Ka-Ri is something new, and hey, we take what we can get in this economy. I was curious about everyone's thoughts on this new tank since I haven't seen a ton of discussion. Here's my flawed opinion as a mid-tier player.

It's ok. The gun is funny and does a lot of damage but I have noticed problems with accuracy at long range, but when you hit a shot it feels fantastic. That 500 Alpha is a very fun feeling.

The Gun handling is good, besides the accuracy I mentioned, I didn't have much of a problem with it, and I think a lot comes down to the fact that I didn't spend gold to get a maxed-out crew and just got it maxed out, so I believe it will perform better.

The Armor though… ouch. I mean it can block shots, nothing beat the feeling of bouncing a FV 215B (183) and T-30 shell at the same time, but IMO it's pretty unreliable and I never rely on it AT ALL. Heavies tend to have a field day with it.

Overall, I think it's a decent sniping tank, but IMHO I would rather have a SU-130PM as a sniping tank over the mass that is the Ka-Ri, but hey, you take what you get.

What do the rest of you think?

EDIT: After playing more, I've noticed something: It cant spot the broadside of a barn. Like, wow is it bad at spotting. I tend to get killed by other TDs because this massive tank gets spotted super easily while I can't see them at all. I especially struggle with Forest Spirit/SU-130PM, I just can't see them even if they're right in front of me.
