For me:
Tier V – The team with OP premiums like the KV-220-2 and the Pz V/IV with good players is almost always a guaranteed win since a lot of players at this tier are oranges and reds that don't know how to properly counter these tanks. Leafblowers are also really annoying
Tier VI – 3 arty spam. The M44 nerf didn't change anything. I really love the tanks at this tier and I believe they are mostly balanced (except for a few like the better-in-every-way-than-the-tech-tree-variant T34-85M) but the permastun from 3 artys every game is unbearable.
Tier VII – Probably the most balanced tier at the moment but there is a sore thumb in the form of the E25. A team with an E25 vs a team without can easily stomp or reverse-stomp since the camo rating is so OP and your team has no chance to push against one late game if you don't have an LT.
Tier VIII – An absolute mess. The premiums are evidently way better than most tech tree tanks. Still pretty fun in my opinion but it can get frustrating to play against bourrasques and progettos while you're in a tech tree tank.
Tier IX – Pretty fun except if you're in a stock tank. The grinds are so long and you can really feel helplessness in a lot of games. Pretty expensive to play as well but it's still fun.
Tier X – I haven't played this tier but I kinda feel like it's just going to be a waste of money since a lot of the lines I am grinding at the moment have bad Tier Xs which don't improve much on their Tier IX predecessors. From the posts here it seems like there are also a lot of arty players on this tier + you face the OP tanks like the chieftain and the 279(e).
What are your thoughts on Tiers V-X?
