Just going off the stats, the Renegade seems like it would be a fairly weak vehicle. The turret armor is decent, the DPM is good for its tier, it has good gun handling, and it is reasonably mobile for a heavy, but its alpha is nothing spectacular, its gold penetration is lacking, its hull armor is pretty bad, and it has a humongous and fairly weak cupola. A lot of streamers such as Skill4LTU say that it is a great tank, so one might assume that it is like the T110E5: a tank that sucks for most of the playerbase but which really good players can use in some way to great success. However, this is not the case.

Here is a table showing the average win rates of players with different overall win rates in various tier 8 heavies regarded as being strong, during the past 30 days, according to (https://wot-news.com/game/tankinfo/en/eu/). I have rounded to the nearest tenths place.

As you can see, the Renegade is not just good for the best players, but seems to be flat out broken. Pretty much everyone, tomatoes and unica alike, overperforms drastically in it compared to their overall stats. For bad, average, and above average players, the Renegade is pretty much the second best heavy, right behind the Skoda T56. It beats out tanks which you would think are much more idiotproof, such as the VK and Defender. For good players, it is pretty much the best tier 8 heavy, bar none.

So why is the Renegade so powerful? I do not own one and cannot understand this. It doesn't have an autoloader, reliable armor, or seem exceptional in any way. How are even tomatoes doing so well in it?
