So I was playing with Strv S1 in the random queue. It’s a very fun tank. I just recently got my hands on it because of the extra gold out of loot boxes. Therefore I am still getting used to it.
As a result, I was not as influential as when I’m play my other fav tanks. I still tried my best to support my teammates. (Be In the right position, fall back when needed)
I had a mix of wins and losses throughout the night. However, my last two games were filled with toxic comments. There were notably two 53-55% win ratio players in each game, both calling our players names (idiot, tomatoes, ***and etc). Because they had great performance & were still losing (it hurts I know)
I have no problem with being frustrated. I am a slightly above 50% WR player with okay-ish 1630 WN8 (with 30k+ battles). I know how it feels.
But this time it hits me differently. Is it the one of the main reasons why the game is slowing declining? Us experienced players not tolerating any mistakes, regardless of the players’s experience level.
It is already a game with sharp learning curve and niche theme. I feel like us more experienced players should be more supportive and tolerating.
I know that judging by the looks of it. The heyday of WOT is long gone. But I really like this game. I really wish that we can prolong the lifespan of this game that I’ve been playing for ten years.
