Let's say that on the Skeld, 1 person was accounted for by another person in admin, and the other 3 are somewhere in one room. Of the 3, 1 of them kills another and a report happens, causing what would be a 50/50. While this was going on, the lights are turned off.

There are 4 people left, and you usually don't vote on this number, so what do you do?

Well, the lights are off, and you have 2 other cleared people from this, so here's what you do:

1. Vote out one of the sussed players
2. If the game doesn't end, one cleared person goes fix lights, and the other cleared person stays at the button to call a meeting.
3. Both cleared players vote out the impostor.

This same thing could work out in a 2 impostor game where there is a 50/50 and Lights (or Comms) are off.

A 50/50 (fyi) is where there is a round of only 2 suspects for 1 impostor kill, either because both suspects are blaming each other, or because it's derived from deductive reasoning (or just process of elimination).
