Hello!

I wanted to figure out if it was worthwhile to run moonshine on the scav box. These are the questions I wanted to answer:

1) Would it be better to just sell the moonshine after making it?

2) Would I make a profit if I manufactured the moonshine in the hideout from raw materials (I am using water filter and sugar as base)?

So, to question number one, so far its a YES. Selling the moonshine would have given me something like 63,638 R more then the scav box runs.

For question number two looks like a yes as well- but I am not including opportunity cost here. It looks like a profit of 252,575 R, but I'm not factoring in what i could have made in the kitchen if I had been making / selling something else (condensed milk, etc).

Conclusion:

In general, I think if you can loot water filters, or sugar (or even Alonka), you will see a decent profit in the long run. Otherwise, probably best to just sell the moonshine.

Notes & Assumptions:

For my P/L Materials calculations, I'm using cost of sugar x 2 + .6 x cost of water filter.

All costs are gathered at the time I initiate the scav box run.

All prices are based on lowest cost on flee market

Flee market tax is not included (so actual profit is about 10% lower)
