CTF format rules

These are the rules I've come up with for a friendly CTF match. This is for playing with friends that you can trust to play fair as there is obviously no way to really enforce the rules. Please let me know of anything that you think might be imperative to the enjoyment of a CTF match that I may have missed. Also, feel free to use this as a guide for your own CTF match. Hopefully, my group will be able to wrangle together a 3v3 tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes…

*****Each mats loot box contains; 200 wood, 50 stone, a small-sized trophy, 4 fine wood, 1 bronze nail, 20 leather scraps, 5 deer hide. I chose to include the leather and deer hide for the tanning rack to help boost along the leather progression as it sometimes can be a huge pain finding enough boar and this is intended to be a faster-paced game mode.*****
1 hour grace period(recommended)

CTF RULES

Each team will start out with 1 premade loot box of mats. Each team's loot box contains identical mats for starting your base. In this box, you will find a trophy(this is your team's flag) and the mats for an item stand. Teams may agree upon a grace period for building. Any rules may be changed or modified as long as it is agreed upon unanimously.

  1. Crispy toons only (you must make a new character for the match, no using your character with 86 run skill or some dumb shit like that)

  2. Absolutely NO direct attacks on an enemy player or enemy-built structure during the grace(build) period.

  3. No bringing in mats, tools, weapons, or items of any kind from other seeds. (Sorry leave the lox pies at home)

  4. The bronze nails and fine wood provided MUST be used to craft an item stand and you MUST place your trophy on it.

  5. Trophy may NOT be placed under flooring, behind secret walls, buried, etc. It must be openly visible to the other team once they are near it.

  6. After the grace period, the first team to place the enemy teams trophy on their item stand wins.

  7. No crossing bodies of water that you cannot swim across. (we have to be able to find each other in some decent amount of time)

  8. Obviously there is no way to tell if someone cheats so just don't. It makes the game less fun for everyone and invalidates your victory.
