Events need to be changed

Me and a friend just killed Moder and started exploring the plains. We don't have any black metal gear, super good food, or experience with dealing with Fulings. The Hoard Event happened and completely destroyed our house we put hours into, they killed all our boars including our pet named "Boaris." We couldnt do anything about it as there were an overwhelming number of Fulings and berserkers and now its hard to get back into the game because we cant get to our stuff.

A couple changes I think would be good are Changing The criteria for when the events are enabled (instead of killing a boss, having a bit of upgraded gear.) Or Slowly evolving the events difficulty with the players skill level (no black metal gear= 10 Fulings, Some black metal gear = 15 Fulings And a couple shamans ect.)

I mainly used the Hoard event as an example but a couple other events could fall into this catigory as well like "A Foul Smell From the Swamp" and "You are being Hunted" atleast until you get some upgraded gear. Its really unfair when you dont have the means to deal with the events and you end up losing hours of work because of it
