I had an idea for a small feature that, IMO, would add a lot to the immersion.
Currently, whenever you go to sleep, there is a chance that a bit of flavor text appears on the screen. As far as I am aware, the way this currently works is that it has a pool of different responses that it will rotate through in a semi-random fashion. It also seems like some responses that appear more frequently than others, meaning that there is some sort of weighting system as well.
I propose that there should be a number of new responses added that are dependent on the state of the player character and the state of the world. For example, if it is storming outside when you enter the bed, there is a chance that something such the following would have a chance of appearing:
"As lightning flashes above and rain droplets barrage your home, you find it difficult to rest your mind."
This could also be something that is biome-specific (aka the howl of wolves if sleeping on a mountain), or something related to progression (such as dreaming about your recent victory against The Elder). There could also be text related to the state of your skills, such as dreaming about swordplay if your sword skill is above level 40 or so.
I think that this would be a relatively minor change that would add a lot to the general cohesiveness and immersion. Thoughts?
