High CPU Usage / Stuttering. POTENTIAL FIX!!!

Hi,

I have been looking for solution to my problem with high cpu usage , unstable frametime for some time because the experience was horrendous. I tried everything from

Updating Drivers

Clean Windows Install

Tweaking NVIDIA Settings

Tweaking Game Settings

Rivatuner Tweaking

And nothing really helped me except limiting frametime in Rivatuner. It did help a little with laggynes but i still felt that the game was stuttery. I came across a post about setting the cpu priority to high and have it a shot and it didnt help. I thought to myself what if i set it the Priority to Normal and IT WORKED. i have stable frametime and fps with no stuttering.

This may or not fix your issue if you are experiencing this but give it a try.

My specs:

i5 9400f

3060 msi ventus 3x

2x8GB Crucial 3000mhz

HOW TO SET GAME PRIORITY TO NORMAL:

Open up your task manager while youre in game and navigate to Details tab. Then find EscapeFromTarkov.exe Right click on it , Click set priority and click Normal.

If the game itself changes the priority back to Realtime try Bill2 program which sets the priority permanently.

If there is such post as mine, I am unaware of it.
