First of all, I think that getting tasks done as quickly and efficiently as possible should be the main priority of every crewmate while survival and figuring out the Imposter or Imposters is secondary.
My reasoning is that if all Crewmates get their tasks done faster, it significantly shortens the Imposters window of opportunity to win. They will be more likely to play more aggressively and make reckless mistakes that exposes them.
Here is what I do I on every map:
At start of game, I look at the map and examine where my tasks are.
I then create a path in my head that I will follow to get each task done, usually starting with the closest task and then following each one in a chain.
A bonus can be if your tasks are all bunched up in a single place. For example on the Skeld, if I have 2 or 3 tasks in Electrical I usually go there first to knock out a significant chunk of tasks right away.
In short, if you follow the path of least resistance you finish your tasks sooner.
Strength of this strategy: You finish your tasks pretty quickly if stay efficient with your time. Statistically, I also survive longer because of this strategy.
Weakness of this strategy: You will be sus because you will wandering around the map sometimes when others aren't around to vouch for you. My advice always take note of who you see or who sees you so you can have an alibi.
