IDEA: Stone circles as creature portals

Probably not an entirely new idea: Using stone circles that spawn on world generation as portals for more than just players, e.g. Boars, Wolves, Lox, maybe even Dverger or future creatures/animals.
There could be an altar of some sort in the middle of the circle where u set a name for the portal and then offer an item in order to travel the portal – possibly biome-specific, maybe trophies, maybe corresponding to the kind and number of animals/creatures u want to transport. The location of every (allied) animal/creature within the circle could simply be copied over to the destination portal-circle since they'd be the same layout. If these stone circle portals would spawn within a reasonable distance of Boar Runes or heavy Wolve/Lox spawn points fairly frequently on world generation they'd easily be transformed into an important POI for everyone exploring. Players will sure be building bases near/around them too – which I'd love to see some of the crazy examples of. But since Lox damage even stone formations the stones on the circles would probably have to be indestructible for this to make sense (if they aren't already).
