So, I have been tinkering a lot with Tarkov on different Drives, Systems, Configurations, etc. and found that in many cases (for some odd reason) the game might use a paging file on your HDD instead of SSD (where your game should be installed tbh) – that can, especially for older HDD's, make your game stutter A LOT, when people shoot, etc.

this does cause a bit more strain and burn on your SSD, but it might help, so you decide for yourself since the time it shaves off extra is quite negligable.

you should check for paging files, the best possible way of setting it up for me personally was No Paging File on any HDD, and a System Managed one for the SSD (or 16+ for Tarkov if you do not have a lot of space free on your SSD) .

You can get to the Settings for this by opening your File Explorer > Right Click "This PC" > Properties > Advanced System Settings (Bottom Right) > Advanced Tab > Settings on the Performance Option > Advanced > Virtual Memory "Change" – and then setting what I stated above.

Do at your own risk, it should not cause any issues on your PC but as said will in most cases shorten the lifetime of your SSD, which is quite long and will probably get replaced before any notable issues occur anyway.

NOTE : You will HAVE to restart your PC afterwards to make sure it actually takes effect.
