99% of the time you put up on the Flea Market will make you money, but occasionally there's certain items such as Green Batteries which had this same problem. Although you will gain a tonne of Flea Market reputation you will lose money, in this case ~800,000 roubles. If the item doesn't sell on the Flea Market you will lose 1 million roubles worth of reputation and 1.7 million roubles because of the fee.
Every item in the game has a sweet spot on the Flea Market where you will get the most bang for your buck however, if you go over that sweet spot the Flea Market fee will increase exponentially and you may lose money.
Always double check the Flea Market fee when you're putting an item up for sale
