Frist off, I'm not a native english speaker so sorry in advance for grammatical errors.
Well now let me explain my mod and the idea… The plan with the mod is to add magical weapons from the start of the game, this includes elemental and blood magic weapons on each biome, two sets of armor and of course one or two new crafting stations with the level improvements .
I started the concept since the release of mistlands, however there are still some things that I have to think… So I'm making this post to see if people have some ideas as to what to add or concepts about the weapons, stations, etc.
Now I'll explain what are the ideas to the moment and you can give me all the feedback you want, no matter how bizarre the idea is, it can help me to create a new concept.
However I have some rules and limitations
I'll divide this into sections so it's better organized.
——————————————-
As we know magic uses eitr which is available until mistlands however I plan to add a tier of eitr to each biome.
Black Forest- Eitr Droplets
Swamp- Fading Eitr
Mountain- Eitr
Plains- Infused Eitr
This eitr tiers will be used in the crafting of the magic related items.
——————————————-
As we are aware the Galdr Table is the mistlands crafting station however to make the creation of magical weapons early we need another crafting station, this idea is still work in progress and feedback would be appreciated.
–Seidr/ Seiðr Table–
This table will be used throughout all the stages of the game and will be only improved with level stations like any other in game table.
–Seidr/ Seiðr Spring–
This tree stump filled with eitr will be used as a Eitr Refinery where you will put items that will then be transformed into the eitr, how will it work exactly?, I'm still working on it so give me your ideas.
The eitr is the source of all life and is everywhere so I conceptualize the low tier eitr as being blue since it will not use Yggdrasil Sap and with trees growing on the table to symbolize the life.
–Table improvements–
Still playing with ideas, feedback and or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
If my calculations are correct the table will need 5 or 6 improvements to be able to be used until mistlands.
——————————————–
As Blood Magic weapons are focused on giving buffs to you and allies I will make so that the Blood magic weapons will be able to be leveled up all tiers so they don't lose utility when you change biome.
This will not happen with elemental weapons that will have a cap on upgrades like the physical weapons, so that if you want to progress you will have to craft new ones.
The objective is to have 2 Elemental weapons per biome and 1 Blood weapon per biome to avoid clutter and also because I intent to change how the Dead Raiser works.
–Meadows—
None, as it is the start of the game and there are few materials to work with.
–Black Forest—
–Swamp–
–Mountain–
–Plains–
–Dead Raiser–
To my perception the dead raiser is a little bit useless as the skeletts are really weak so I aim to do something with it, my idea to this moment is to first make so that the summons are a little bit more tanky but you have to heal them with your own blood which will be done with the special attack when holding the dead raiser
And second I'll make the dead raiser to de available since the black forest and will be improved two levels per biome. In the black forest it will summon one skeleton per level, on the swamp it will replace the skeletons with draugr, on the mountain they will be replaced with Ulvs and in the plains I don't know yet what to summon but I'll work on an idea, also give me your ideas for the plains.
I intend to create two armor sets to help with the progression the first will be available when you enter the black forest and will last until you finish the swamp and the second will be crafted with mountain materials and will be used through the plains until you get to the mistlands.
Both armor sets will grant increased Eitr regeneration and maybe a little buff to a skill.
I have no concept or idea for the sets so you could really help me with this 😉
As we know magic needs eitr food which is only available in the mistlands so I'll have to make new food that fixes this, however there are about 4-6 cooked foods per biome so what I have planed is to create one or two new eitr based food and make one of the vanilla foods eitr based so there will be 3 eitr foods per biome except of course in the meadows.
This however will be the last thing I'll do because I'm really bad with cooking and food stuff in real life and I have no idea about Viking age food. You can help me with this also.
This are all concept ideas, so they can change depending on time or the difficulty of programming them.
That is all my fellow Vikings, any idea you can think no matter how crazy may sound can help me a lot, so if you have one or any of your friends, don't be afraid to comment it.
Also is you can share this post in your Valheim enjoyers group, do it please so more people sees it.
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
