Title is basically it. From the description it sounds like it protects only you, so I, as a summoner, didn't bother crafting it to preserve my health/eytr for replenishing my "army" in battle.
Eventually I wanted to try it out only to realize that sometimes my skeletons also got the bubble and funny sound effects (for real, they're hilarious in otherwise more serious moments), but not always.
Took me a bit to figure out: If you activate the spell, everything in an AoE around you gets the buff. Sadly I'm playing solo right now so I can't tell you whether it affects other players as well (and I haven't tried tamed wolfes or so). According to comments this applies to anything friendly within that radius
Other infos: They have their own shield pool and duration independent of yours from the moment they get it.
