Deep North: Jotunheim
Final Boss: Ymir, king of frost giants
Enemies: Jotuns (frost giants)
New QoL: equipment slots added with the addition of Shoe slot, inventory bags added with varying sizes
New items: bags, spiderclimb gear (lets you walk along vertical surfaces), special attack added for frost staff
Following release:
Ashlands: Helheim
Final Boss: Surtr, Flaming Warrior
Enemies: Surtling Brute, Corpse Eaters (birds)
New QoL: new crafting and gear with flametal
New items: boss item lets you build portal with blue core in next release, winged boots made from corpse eaters that double jump height, special attack added for fire staff
Now here's where things turn into a pipedream
Following release:
New realm: Midgard,
Final boss: Tyr, God of War (arena)
Enemies: warriors of tyr, Aesir/Valkyrie, sometimes other players
New QoL: NPC controlled trading post where players can list items for other players to buy via the vendor, arena for players to duel each other without skill drain
New items: Blue core portal – teleports the player to the new realm, Midgard, where they can interact with other players, other players can not return to your realm with you. Staff of the Beast – lets you summon random beasts instead of skeletons
I feel like this progression would match the level of power that players are supposed to be, eventually challenging the masters of realms such as Ymir and eventually a god in Tyr. It would also be really awesome to have some kind of online multiplayer aspect since i know a lot of people have friends that log off and we're stuck in our servers alone!
